Marianne Gullberg and LU Humanities Lab hosted the second Leverhulme Network Workshop on the second language acquisition of sign language on April 27-28.

The Leverhulme network, coordinated by Prof. Gary Morgon, City University London, brings together deaf and hearing scholars from the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, and Sweden to discuss the second language acquisition of sign language. It was a truly multilingual event – the workshop languages were spoken English, British Sign Language, Swedish Sign Language, and International Sign.
