Marianne Gullberg was elected member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities, the philosophical and philological class, on Oct. 7 2014. The Academy was founded in 1753 (or 1786, depending on how you count) and aims “to promote research and other activities in the humanities, theology, law, and social science disciplines, as well as stewardship of cultural milieus”.
